A Deacon

I have a deacon! He passed the Sacrament for the first time this Sunday. He looked so handsome and is moving into the next stage of life quite smoothly.

Mike's 38!

Two days after I spent $80 replacing Mike's surround sound remote for his birthday Josh programmed our dish remote to do the same thing. Augh!

Preschool Fun

We had a great preschool class this year! As you can tell from the video these kids know it all. Sorry about the loud backgroud singing.

Baseball Opening

Justin is having fun with the new baseball season. Here are a few early pictures.

Inseparable

When I had my little girl I didn't imagine she and her big brother would be the best of friends.

Grandma Thanks and Reagan's 4th Birthday!

Thanks Grandma for the bike updo! Reagan was very excited to have her cousins spend her birthday with her! I don't know if I have ever had a child so excited for their birthday! She danced while her primary sang Happy Birthday and skipped to the Bishop's office for her treat!

Reagan told me a bedtime story tonight. Here it is - you can tell she has three older brothers. "Once upon a time in a galaxy far far away lived a girl. She was walking through the woods and met a monster. He was not made out of real life - he was made out of legos. So the girl took him apart and the monster could not hurt her -- The end."

What is she talking about?

Reagan was helping me prepare for preschool at our house today. We were gathering pretend goodies to let Little Red Riding Hood bring to grandmother. We were planning to act out the story during preschool. As I looked through the various plastic yumyums she had gathered I came upon a play horse. I told Reagan that I didn't think grandma would want that for a treat. She quickly responded "she can just boil the horse mom and eat its feet". Huh? I can't even try to explain that one. Gelatin?

When will Winter End?

A fun snow day!

The Mall of America

For a quick getaway we visited the Mall of America for a few days during Springbreak. We enjoyed the waterpark, Legoland, Nickelodeon, and BuildaBear. It was some much needed fun time!

Reagan was excited when we passed the elementary school the other day. There was a large flag waving in the front of the school. Reagan yelled "Look mom, it is the American Idol flag!" I thought her comment says alot about our American culture.

Super Hero AJ

I have always loved this video. AJ is my superhero.

AJ was thrilled to be rid of one front tooth. He was worried however the new one would grow in over night and he wouldn't be able to show his primary class tomorrow.

Mike participated in the Santa Run this December. He donated $100 to take part. He claims it was money well spent. He loved the Santa suit he got to keep. I think he has always liked dressing up.

We were a little star struck one night last week when both the Bishop and Stake President dropped by to visit with our family. Mike thought he would use the moment to introduce the kids to the stake president and explain his calling. He first reminded the kids who the bishop was and how he was responsible for our ward. He then asked the boys what they thought President Payntor was president of - Justin was hesitiant but took a stab at the answer. He said sheepishly -- the Galaxy?? I think there is too much testosterone and Star Wars in the Lapicola house.

Visiting Santa

Every Christmas we visit Macys downtown for the annual display. We also love to see Santa at that time. Reagan got a little grumpy waiting for Santa but perked up when we threatened her with going home. Amazing how quick we can change our attitude.

Our Nativity

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve. Our reenactment of the Navity was a highlight. AJ was a dutiful Joseph and Reagan loved being Mary.

Some Things I Love About AJ
